Red Chat Ritual guide: TSUMIMI TIME demo tips
A practical first-look guide to the Red Chat Ritual TSUMIMI TIME demo: the day/night loop, Mega Chats, clues, gifts and endings.

Table of Contents
Red Chat Ritual: TSUMIMI TIME is a mystery adventure about a viewer intervening in a struggling idol’s livestream. The useful guide for the demo is a loop rather than a route: earn money in the day, watch Tsumimi at night, spend Mega Chats and comments deliberately, and connect the clues you file. Gematsu’s report describes the full game as a roughly two-week day-and-night story with multiple endings; the demo material linked here covers the opening chapter.
Start with the loop, not a walkthrough
Tsumimi, of the idol unit Wataame Chainsaw, keeps streaming in the hope that her missing partner Mashiro will find her. You are the viewer who can nudge her stream, investigate what she misses, and shape where the story goes.
In practice, the demo’s day breaks into a few kinds of decision:
- Daytime: build up money. The demo gameplay video’s player treats daytime work as the way he funds later stream interventions and notes that a shift consumes time according to its hours.
- Night: watch Tsumimi’s stream. The same player describes the night slot as stream time, and his main complaint is that the demo does not explain this day/time budget clearly.
- During the stream: intervene through Mega Chats, which Gematsu describes as paid donation messages, and through comments.
- After the stream: save and connect what you found. Gematsu says the information you gather goes into an investigation file, and that organizing fragments and confirming hypotheses can change what happens next.
- Between streams: use the wish list. Gematsu notes that a gift sent in the dead of night can return as an unexpected reaction in the next day’s stream; the demo player describes wish-list items being collected from a convenience store.

Mega Chats: spend with a reason
Mega Chats are the paid side of stream intervention. The demo player’s impression is that a larger donation gets more attention, but that Tsumimi’s mood still shapes the response, so donation size is not a solved formula. He also says not every stream needs a paid message, and in his demo session he hit a game over after being blocked from her channel. That is a useful warning, not a published rule set: intervention can go too far, and the demo does not spell out where every line is.
For a first run, the safer habit is to read the stream, save the clue, and spend only when a prompt gives you a reason. If you are short on money, the demo player funded his Mega Chats with daytime work; he does not offer a tested optimal shift length, so do not treat any one schedule as mandatory.
Clues, keywords and the investigation file
Gematsu’s description puts deduction at the centre: you pick up fragments, connect them, and your answer changes the ending. In the demo video, the player looks for highlighted text in the stream and saves it as a keyword, then checks the investigation file for people, places and objects.
When one stream produced no new highlighted text, he was unsure whether that was a branch consequence or a demo bug. If that happens to you, re-read the investigation file before assuming you missed a prompt. The demo player’s no-highlight moment was left unresolved in his video, so it is not a reliable signal that your run is broken.

Gifts and the wish list
The wish list is the most concrete place to spend if you want a direct effect. Gematsu says gifts sent at night can come back as an unexpected reaction in the next day’s stream. The demo player describes the list as Tsumimi’s shopping list and says items are picked up from a convenience store, which is also how she gets food and supplies. A Mega Chat is a social nudge; a wish-list gift is closer to giving her a specific thing she asked for.
Demo vs. full release
The demo gameplay video presents the demo as a six-day opening chapter; that is the player’s description, not a full-game schedule. A June 2026 Steam Community thread is demo feedback: the poster praises the localization, art, music and story, finds the mechanics intuitive even with little tutorial, and calls the UI cluttered. The video is more critical of the onboarding, repeatedly asking for a tutorial that explains the day/time budget and the Mega Chat economy.
For release timing, Gematsu’s 2026-05-21 report gives October 22 as the launch date and lists roughly three hours per playthrough, with four to five hours total across multiple endings. Those are the article’s figures, not a promise about your own pace. The Steam thread and video do not identify a demo build number, so treat small UI and bug details as demo-era observations.
If you get stuck
- If you are unsure how to spend a day, separate the three jobs: make money, choose one lead to investigate, and decide whether the stream needs a paid nudge. The demo player’s main friction was the lack of explanation for that budget, not a single hidden solution.
- If a clue does not highlight, re-read the investigation file and try a different lead on the next day rather than replaying immediately. That is a conditional suggestion, not a confirmed fix.
- If the UI feels cluttered, the Steam thread poster found the mechanics clicked after a short adjustment. That is one player’s experience, not a difficulty setting.
- If you are choosing between a gift and a Mega Chat, the wish list is the more concrete spend in the demo player’s account, while a Mega Chat is a social nudge whose result depends on Tsumimi’s mood.
